Chinese language is originally the indigenous languages spoken by the “Han Chinese” in China. About one-fifth of the world´s population, or 1.365 billion people speaks as their native language.
There are seven main regional groups of Chinese of which the most spoken is Mandarin (850 million), followed by Wu (90 million), Cantonese (Yue) (70 million), Min (50 million), Hakka (35 million), Xiang (35 million), Gan 31 million) and some other dialect which spoken by many million chinese.
Standard Chinese is based on the Mandarin and the official language in China, as well as in Taiwan, and even one fo the four officiell languages of Singapore. In Hongkong together with English and of Macau together with Portugese. It is one of the six official languages of the United Nations.
